Three P-38 Lightnings of the 55th Fighter Group flying in formation. The markings CG-H of the nearest aircraft indicate that it is part of the 38th Fighter Squadron, 55th FG. The Group flew Lightnings until July 1944 when the pillots converted to P-51 Mustangs.
