Delivered Cheyenne 5/7/43; Dow Fd 27/7/43; Assigned 366BS/305BG [KY-H] Chelveston 17/8/43; on return from Nantes 23/9/43 crashed on base after apparently completely lost control following slight mid-air collision with 42-30809 which returned OK, with Norman Drouin, Co-pilot: Walt Menzel, Navigator: Albt Feigelson, Bombardier: Bob Harden, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Sam Steinhardt, Radio Operator: Lou Goodman, Ball turret gunner: Frank Brooks, Waist gunner: Stan Westby, Waist gunner: Fred Ringle,Tail gunner: Earl Walsh (10 Killed in Service); Salvaged.
