This aircraft crashed on a mission from Tibenham to Koblenz on 22 April 1944.



A memorial was unveiled at the crash site on 22 April 2009. This was attended by Robert Mahoney, the nephew of John F Mahoney, one of the airmen who was part of the crew on the day it crashed on 22 April 1944.
