He was cremated and is interned under the last name Monte (along with my mother Alice) in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Farmingdale. POW - 04/29/1944 to 04/29/1945. He was born 04/29/1920; shot down on his 24th birthday and taken POW. He was released the next year on his 25th birthday. He died on his 91st birthday in 2011.
