Dominic Lawrence Gaudiomonte (Monte): Born - 04/29/1920 - Died - 04-29-2011. My father and his family shortened their last name from Gaudiomonte to Monte in the 1950's. He was cremated and is interned under the last name Monte (along with my mother Alice) in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Farmingdale. POW - 04/29/1944 to 04/29/1945. He was born 04/29/1920; shot down on his 24th birthday and taken POW. He was released the next year on his 25th birthday. He died on his 91st birthday in 2011.
