Crashed on 6 February 1945 while forming up before a mission to Magdeburg. The aircraft became caught in the prop wash of another, and clipped the underside of B-24 42-94766, chopping it's tail off, and causing it to crash near Deopham. All of the crew were killed in the incident.



The piston from the aircraft's engine was recovered and sold on EBay
