I have a passion to honor and preserve the memories, struggles and sacrifice of our brave Army Air Corps soldiers during the great Second World War. I particularly want to honor the life and sacrifice of my uncle, 1st Lt. Michael J. Delaney, KIA along with his entire crew of B-24, 42-51481, 491st Bombardment Group, 853rd Bomber Squadron out of Metfield, England, Mar 1944 and North Pickenham, England,15 Aug 1944-Jun 1945
