My brother, Eugene F. Darter, became an MIA on 16 Dec 43 when his B17 was shot down by the Nazis in northern Netherlands. I began an intensive cold case investigation in 2000 and after many amazing discoveries of events and his surviving crew, published the results in 2014 (see web site). Who could ever imagine that so much could be discovered 60+ years after he vanished!
