My grandfather, Ray Field flew 46 b-17 missions with the 457th bomber group as a radio gunner and just recently passed away. He left a lot of WWII stuff behind, including a lot of previously unknown information about his brother, Herbert K. Field, 2nd Lt. in the 353rd. I'm hoping to update some stuff on my great-uncle. I also teach History to 8th and 11th graders in Chicago Il.
