nephew of Floyd R Rogers (Rudolph) whose B 24 bomber was lost over the North Atlantic "two minutes from the English coastline" on March 6, 1944. Five of the crew were rescued at sea and five, including Rudolph, were lost. Researching on behalf of my dad, Harold Rogers, who at this writing is 93 and a veteran of the 717th tank Battalion.
