Bio

I am the son of Randolph I. Johnson who was a pilot in the 95th BG 334 th SQDN stationed at Horham. My father flew 35 missions all over Europe from April through July of 1944. He mostly flew Worrybird (201) and the crew named his ship Worrybird because dad was always concerned about every detail being correct. They bought a toy bird in Denver, CO and hung it in the cockpit. Later, a man named Ed Osterlo painted the big bird on the nose.
