Bio

My interest in this organization is due to my father's service as an American 8th Army Air Corp. Jess H. Edwards serial number 0-740088, served as second, then first Lieutenant from March,1943 to January, 1945. He mostly served as a co-pilot on the B-24's out of North Africa and England with the 93rd Bomb Group, 330 Sqaudron. In May, 2014, I visited Hardwick, England to see the airfield he flew from. My father died in 1978 after my mom passed; he was a crop duster pilot and instructor when I was growing up in Bakersfield, Ca and taught me to fly small airplanes when I was 14 yrs. old. I had the chance to fly in a restored B-24 in 2001 and got to sit behind the co-pilot. This past May, I travelled the beaches of D-Day with my husband and friends for six days.
