Revisions
I am the daughter of Frank J. Tamburino and unfortunately, his name has been entered incorrectly in a number of places.
His is often listed as Frank P. Tamburino, but that may have been how he signed in as his father was "Philip" and he may have wanted to dedicate his service to him. In actuality, he was Frank John Tamburino (1916 -1993). I have some old photos and one can be found online at http://wwiiflighttraining.org/Cadets/Class1943/1943h/images/simmons_joh… and his is listed in Mission 009 — 27 May 1944 (http://www.486th.org/Mssn/M001t050/CList/CList009.htm), but they still have the "P" as his middle initial. However you can see that the last name is spelled correctly on this list. I don't see anywhere to upload any images, but I will if there is a way to do so. Thank you.
