The target for the raid of February 14 1945 was Dresden but they had to divert from the route due to weather conditions and were using up too much fuel. It turned out that they dropped their 500 pounders on Prague - an open city - instead. To conserve fuel they jettisoned equipment and managed to limp home on two engines.
