Charles Sylvester Lail Jr


Charles Lail served as a bombardier with the 562nd Bomb Squadron of the 388th Bomb Group. On 29 November 1943, he was flying in B-17 #423505 when it was shot down and ditched in the North Sea. Lail was Killed in Action (KIA).
