Revisions
In the Photo, Lt. James L. McWhorter of the 365th FG / 386th FS..is top / center.
I see that the historian for the 466th Bomb Group had added an edit to the page. Unless known..I find it both remarkable and one-in-a-million chance that two men are tied together in this one post. James L. McWhorter..was the Brother-In-Law to Ernest H. (Harold) Ratliff of the 466th BG / 585th SQ., where he serves as a Tail Gunner in the Greiner Crew who went down on March 2, 1945 in Germany..w/ Harold and three others going down in the B-24 on their very first Mission...
This information is being posted by Stephen D. Mcwhorter, Nephew to James L. McWhorter and as well Ernest H. Ratliff, an Uncle I never met...
