Pilot initially on Hawker Hurricanes with 71 (Eagle) Sqn. Killed in flying accident, when Spitfire P8572 dived into ground near Ongar, Essex, England. KIFA. 9th Aug 1941.

* P8572 may have been unofficially borrowed from 602 Sqn by Taylor as 71S hadn't received their Spitfires by this date.
