James F Claussen

On March 24, 1945, LT Claussen was the pilot of C-46 tail #44-77602 of the 48th Troop Carrier Group, 313th Troop Carrier Squadron. While carrying a full complement of paratroopers of the 17th Airborne Division, the plane was shot down over Wesel, Germany.
He is buried in the Glenn Cemetery in Ava, Illinois.
