Letter from Weisner's father to Harry Haseman's wife

16 November 1944 Dear Mrs. Haseman, My boy was a member of your husband's crew that was reported missing somewhere over Germany (ed note. actually Holland) August 15th and since then has been reported a German prisoner since September 29th. It also has been reported that he was wounded in the lower abdomen, however the Dr. reported him on the road to recovery. I would also like to hear how and what happened to your husband. If you would be so kind as to drop me a few lines, just how and what happened to him. Yours Truly, Edward M. Weisner
