Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) at Talgewilsten in B-17 #44-8518.
While assigned to the 731BS, Lt. Wagoner was in the follow incident: Upon landing at Deopham Green in B-17G #43-38201, co-pilot raised landing gear instead of flaps. (OOPS!) The 'co-pilot' was in fact left-seater riding in the right seat and 'whose unfamiliarity with co-pilot duties (!) was without doubt' a factor in the accident. Crew of five all RTD.
