Shot down 13 April 1944 in B-24 #42100330. Landed in Switzerland. Interned. 22 missions. Earlier, October 1, 1943, on a mission to Weiner Neustadt, ac# 41-23779 '4-Q-2' was attacked by fighters. Lost #3 engine, radio and electric systems. Pilot Taylor landed at an Aussie base outside of Bari, Italy. Spent a few days at the base working on the plane. Returned to Tunis where the crew was TDY to the 9th AAC.
