Lt. Howard A. Fisher 466th BG - 787th BS Silver Star Purple Heart Flew 27 missions. On 20 June 1944 brought a severely damaged B-24 back with 5 wounded and 3 KIA crewmen and crash landed near RAF Ashford. Awarded Silver Star for his actions that day.
