Front Row: L-R Unknown Sgt, Sgt John Dorafachuck KIA, Most likely Sgt George Schuck, Engineer Tech Sgt John C Dowdy KIA. All but two crew (not necessarily this specific crew) later killed in a mid-air collision with a B-24 of the 392nd BS during Group Formation prior to the Tutow Mission one month later, on April 9 1944. At that time piloted by Lt Glen Reese. T/Sgt Harvey Dionne one of just 2 survivors from “Might of the Eighth”, both waist gunners.
