This picture is from his daughter Lili Marlene (Dickenson) Crowder.  He later said that he named my mother Lili Marlene because in the Stalag the Germans would play the song Lili Marlene (Lili Marleen) and he thought it was a beautiful song.  Song was later popularized by Marlene Deitrich.  Linked is a video of the song by the original artist.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjXC4N1HXf0
