Koenig, serving as a gunner with the U.S. Army Air Force in Britain, cleans some of England's mud from his shoes. Aged 20, Sergt. Koenig was formerly a student at Spencer, Nebr., his home town. His father, Mr. Adam L. Koenig, resides there. Sergt. Koenig has been on nine raids and holds the Air Medal & Oak Leaf Cluster. U.48. Not to be published before 20th April 1943.'
