Handwritten caption on reverse: '406/RF WD 193. 93 BG - B-24 crash on take off causing bomb load explosion. Hardwick. T/O at woods. 299939 3/3/44 Lt. Sneddar. SE side [three words unreadable] crew okay. Bombs exploded after land.'
