A B-25 Mitchell nicknamed "Black Panther" of the 310th Bomb Group, 12th Air Force. Frank Dean has handwritten caption on reverse: 'B-25 the "Black Panther". This was one of the original B-25s with hand-held waist guns that belonged to the 321st Bomb Grp prior to transfer to the 380 Sqd, 310 Grp. It had no name when I got in in 1943. Taken Cape Bon Area of Africa.'
