A B-26 Marauder of the 25th Bomb Group. The nose section of B-26G-1-MA, serial # 43-34195, was one of 4 of the 25th BG (R) - 654th BS. These all black aircraft (nick-named 'The Black Beauties') were used for night-time recon' missions specifically to photograph V-1 installations in the Pas De Calais, 1944
