2nd Lt. George W. Webb, Jr. who flew with the 94th Bomb Group, 331st Bomb Squadron, 8th Air Force as a Navigator. Webb was shot down over Germany on 10-7-1944, was captured and spent the rest of the war in Stalag Luft III in Sagan-Silesia, Bavaria. Webb's aircraft was a B-17 43-37566 The Joker".
