Enlisting on 12 December 1942 in his hometown of Detroit, MI, Lt. Arthur J. Giese was assigned to the 370th Fighter Squadron on 15 February 1945. Lt. Giese flew 21 combat missions before completing his tour of duty on 21 July 1945.
