Lt. John C. Allen was KIA on 8 August 1944. He enlisted at Ft. McClellan AL on 23 November 1942 and was first assigned to the 496th FTG before joining the 368th Fighter Squadron, 359th Fighter Group, on 3 June 1944. Lt. Allen was buried in the Epinal American Cemetery in France.
