B-24 #42-40611 'Death Dealer' 409th BS, 93rd BG, 8th AF derelict and burnt out. Flew successfully on 1st Aug 43 Ploesti raid. On later mission due to damage over target, diverted to Wil, Switzerland where crew set ship afire and were interned.
