Printed caption on reverse: 'A US NINTH AIR FORCE STATION ENGLAND. Topic of conversation: Ijmuiden, the Nazi-held port in Holland that felt the weight of more than 600 tons of bombs during the big Marauder medium weight bomber attack on March 26. Smiles were the order of the day for this crew, shown here discussing their part in the biggest single operation in Ninth Air Force history. For four of the airmen March 26th was a "revenge mission". Last May 14th Lt Col D turner, of Sapulpa, Okla, co-pilot (shown third from left), Capt Louis J Sebille, of Snover, Mich, pilot (shown third from right), 1st Lt Benjamin R Tillman, of Tampa. Fla, bombardier (second from left) and Staff Sgt, Harold Baker, of West Springfield, Mass, tail-gunner (far right) had a "date" with the enemy at Ijmuiden, and bombing results were nil. Three days later, some Marauders went out again to the same port... and none came back. On March 26th the four airmen settled an old score for that raid's ill-fated crews. Others in the picture are, left to right: Sgt Waldo W Shows, of Taylorsville, Miss, radio-gunner, S/Sgt Norman J Huschka, of Ellinwood, Kansas, engineer-gunner, and 1st Lt Albert J Sadnfoss, of Newport Kentucky, navigator (second from right).'
