B-24 Liberators of the 491st Bomb Group in Coulumiers, France. Handwritten caption on reverse: 'Landed Coulomiers, France.' The squadron ID letter 'T8' indicate these planes are from the 853rd Bomb Squadron, 491st Bomb Group. Judging by the snow on the ground, this was probably a "truckin" mission, ferrying over fuel and supplies in December, 1944 during the "Battle of the Bulge".
