The nose art of a B-24 Liberator nicknamed "Ole Baldy", 42-94863 which served with the 490th, 493rd and 445th Bomb Groups before being lost with the latter until late September 1944 when it was shot down by a fighter and crashed at Braumhausen on the Kassel mission.
