Detailed History

Two memorials, commemorating crashes, inside All Saints Church. The wood was taken from the chancel, so is original to the building.

The Bomb Group also raised money for the bells of the church, and the #2 bell was cast with the Bomb Group emblem inside.

Top, Hethel, 389th BG
Bottom, Old Buckenham, 453rd BG

There is a panel in one of the windows, commemorating the 389th. It was originally intended to be a full stained glass window. The diocese wouldn't give permission for this, as the other windows are clear (excepting a small portion, which is 14th-century glass).
