William Thomas Harvey, Bombardier from the 305th 364th, Although assigned to the D.G. Bigham crew on Statement of Charges, he also flew on Miss Dee Day, The Wheel's Wagon, The hedge Hopper, She's A Honey, Leading Lady, Spare Parts, Woosh Woosh, and Flying Pair 'A Dice, along with four other planes.
He bailed out of WF-S Sugar 43-37947 on 1/10/1945.
Two of his crewmates were killed, E/TT Donald L. Snyder and CP W.N. Stoltzfus. Stoltzfus' chute did not open; Snyder was killed by a German bullet. The navigator, Sam Najarian, and William landed near a Belgian farm where they were helped by the farmers.
Other members of the crew were: R Charles H. Herrick, P Paul E. Koontz, BT James L. Simpson Jr., TG Earl C. Coppess, and TG Francois R. Boucher.
