2nd Lieutenant William Nunn was born July 5, 1922. His next of kin were his wife, Myrtle Nunn, and his father, Fred Nunn. He was from Willowbrook, California.



On August 26, 1944, he was the pilot of B-24 tail #42-95626 of the 446th Bomb Group, 705th Bomb Squadron, when it went down over Woendrecht, Holland.



Nunn was Killed in Action (KIA). He is buried at the US Military Cemetery at Margraten, Holland.
