Capt. William J. Price, 350th FS, 353rd FG, 8th AF, Price was later promoted to Major. The aircraft P-51D 44-14419 was later re-assigned to Lt. George W. Robinson who renamed it “Marilyn”. He was shot down in her over Belgium on December 25, 1944 and managed to evade capture.
His P-51D Mustang"Janie" was named after his only sister. He was forced to give up flying December 6 1944 after experiencing breathing problems at altitude.
