2nd Lieutenant William H. Magee was born January 27, 1922. His next of kin were his parents, William and Bernice Magee. He was from Cleveland, Ohio.

On November 5, 1943, he was serving as Navigator aboard “Big Assed Bird,” B-24 tail #42-7490, of the 392nd Bomb Group, 576th Bomb Squadron, when it was downed over Udem, Germany.

He is buried in Sunset Memorial Park, in Olmstead Township, Ohio.
