Convis Beloved husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Bill Convis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on his 88th birthday, June 25th, 2008. Born 1920, in Lansing, Michigan to Harold and Flossie Convis, he was raised there with his sister, Betty, and brother, Harold Lee, until he left to proudly serve his country during World War II as a B-25 pilot in the European Theater. During the war, while stationed at Mather Field near Sacramento, he met and married Polly Hart of Roseville. Bill is survived by his cherished wife of 65 years, Polly, five children: Jeanne, Bill Jr., Mary, Carol, and Matt, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild. |
