Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) crashed at Deintrup during support mission to NW Germany in P-47D #42-7940. While engaging with 12 109's another aircraft from his flight hit the tail of his P-47. He 'dropped like a rock' and no-one spotted a parachute.
