Wayne P Maresh
Military ROLL OF HONOUREarlier incident on Oct. 9, 1943 in 'Stupefier' B-17F #42-29890 in which Maresh successfully crash landed in a field near the 379th BG.
Killed in Action (KIA) on 5 Jan 1944. B-17G #42-37887. On T/O in poor visibility, the left wing touched the ground and aircraft crashed at Covington, England immediately after takeoff.
