Vincent John Spaziano

Vincent Spaziano served as a fighter pilot with the 503rd Fighter Squadron of the 339th Fighter Group, flying missions out of Fowlmere, England. On 18 November 1944, Spaziano's aircraft P-51 44-14829 was unfortunately hit by Allied anti-aircraft fire and crashed near Metz, France. Spaziano was killed and his body was repatriated to the USA after the war for burial in Cranson RI. He was survived by his wife Millicent Frances Sheridan.
