MilitaryShot down by flak and crashed near Hof Meteln on 6/21/44 in B-24 #42-95186. Killed in Action (KIA). Shot by Nazi party official while prisoner of war (US case 12-1368, charge 1). Killer was hanged 11/5/1948.
