Bio
My father, Tunis H. Holleman, nick name John, was a fighter pilot in WW2. He shot down 2 German aircraft (FW-190 and Messerschmidt 109) and he completed 71 combat missions, and was downed 3 Xs. He wears the Presidential Group Citation for participating in the longest mission for fighters on record, over Danzig, Poland and back. He also wears the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with seven Oak Leaf Clusters.
I am Tunis Holleman's daughter. I have a certificate from the 55th Fighting Group and an article from the local newspaper.
