UPL 31531
Roll-call of 353 FG Aces.
He had a very narrow escape over Tours 12 June 1944. He had been hit and was losing gas but made it to an RAF emergency landing strip. Just as he eased the plane onto the runway it burst into flames; he managed to get out with just minor burns.
