Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Shot down 23 March 1944 in B-17 #4231455. Killed in Action (KIA). Plane was on a direct line between Lipitadt and Munster approx. 25 miles south east of Munster. the BTG noted that both Sergeant. Richardson (LWG) and Sergeant. Samuel V. Nelson (RWG) were both killed by strafing german fighters before the plane went out of control and their bodies remained in the plane when it went down.
