Russell K Clingan

Russell was at business school in Waterloo before joining up. After training he joined the 100th BG at Thorpe Abbotts flying on 25 combat missions.
He afterwards graduated in journalism from Duke University and worked on the local newspaper before starting up his own 'Lee Town News' which he published for 25 years. He was later Chairman of the Polk County Conservation Board and active in the 8thAF Historical Society.
