Bombardier on 35 missions: 20 June 1944 to 26 September 1944. Shot down on A/C # 44-6008 on 35th mission on way to Bremen, Germany. Ditched in North Sea 35 [degrees] 15 min N, 2 [degrees] 28 min E. Rescued by Air Sea Rescue boat after being sighted by P-47 dropping dye markers. Pilot and Co-Pilot Killed in Action (KIA). Remainder of the crew rescued.
